So given the recent flooding round our place (north west UK) I’m putting some serious thought in to putting some emergency kit in my car in case of floods/snow/breakdown etc. Have to plan for the potential of getting stuck and sleeping in the car over night too.
So far I’m torn between getting a ready made kit and making my own.
If I made my own I’d have;
Hi vis jacket
Torch – id prefer a powerful one maybe with a coloured ‘hazard’ or signal mode and a magnet to stick it to the vehicle
Glow sticks
Blanket and foil blanket
Food – cereal bars etc
Water
De-icer, coolant, screen wash etc
Fire extinguisher
Car phone charger
Hazard warning triangle
Tools to change the wheel
Tire pressure gauge
Ice scraper
Any additions or recommendations on where to get the above would e helpful
