Cleanest pen in town

Washed (in the washing machine) and dryed (in the dryer on high heat) my Pilot Metro.
The first thing I noticed is that my clothes weren’t blue black.
It did leak but only internally.
I cleaned it out, refilled it and tried writing, wrote fine but I noticed the metal part of the nib had pulled away from the plastic part, placed it on a piece of metal and pushed and it went back in, writes just as good as it always did.
