KeymasterHello everyone I have been on the hunt for a cobra style nylon belt for a few months now. Id like to help anyone avoid having to go through what I went through when purchasing a belt.
Short story ( I ordered a Tactical Belt from Kary Welch owner and operator of Endeavor stitch works, waited two months, Seller stopped communicating with me after payment was made, I never received the belt, and had to invest a good deal of time to get my money back. I wouldn’t recommend dealing with this guy. )
My hunt has taken me through forums, youtube, and google being a bargain shoppe I searched for quality/price. I was looking for a gun belt that would be good for concealed carry and that has that tactical look. My search ultimately led to a seller named Kary Welch and his company Endeavor Stitch Works. His belt was the cheapest I found with great reviews and best of all it would be custom tailored. That seemed perfect for me, I happily messaged the seller on his website, sent multiple e-mails to see if he was still making the belts. One day later he replied so we talked and he recommended the 1.5 inch cobra belt, he seemed very sincere, honest, and knowledgeable in his emails and recommendations. So we set up the order and he promptly sent me a invoice for the cost of the belt and the shipping, total cost was $56. The only down side to ordering from him was the turn around time which was 6 weeks on his website. I figured for the quality and the price I don’t mind waiting.
After submitting the payment the communication between me and Kary Welch seemed to stop, this was concerning so a few weeks into the order I messaged him through the same email we used for our order and he did not reply. I figured he did not like to get asked what the status was of an order when his website states a 6 week turn around. There were no email saying the belt was completed nor an email stating it would take longer.
I was concerned that I had been scammed so I did a quick search on the google to see if anyone had gone through a similar experience. Surprisingly I was not the only one who had had issues with the seller. Some people had ordered and waited a whole year had before they got their belt, some did not even receive their belts. I even checked out the Better Business Bureau (BBB) rating on his business and he is at an F. To get to an F with the BBB that’s alarming. I wish I would have checked it out before dealing with him. Once the 6 week turn around time passed I messaged Kary Welch yet again to let him know that if he did not reply I would escalate with paypal. He failed to reply so I escalated with paypal, he still refused to reply. A few weeks later I got my money back from paypal and I am extremely dissatisfied with this seller.
I hope this helps anyone else out there looking to buy a Tactical belt to avoid my mistake of ordering from this scammer.
Save yourself some time and frustration and buy from someone who is reputable.
Thanks.
