First off I’ve had this knife for a little over a year. I got this knife after getting into survival and my obsession with blades, I ordered it from Amazon in May last year and was a little disappointed at first but quickly realized its purpose.

    Specs: Overall length-10.5 inches
    Blade length-4.5 inches
    Closed length-6 inches

    Overall thickness-0.56 inches
    Blade thickness- 1/8th inch

    Materials
    Handle-420J sheet
    Blade-4116 krupps

This knife fills a niche that I didn’t know existed a outdoor EDC, don’t expect nice reactions if you use it in a urban location due to the size. It is built similar to traditional non-locking French and Japanese knives with a single sheet of steel for the frame and is ridiculously strong. I have used this knife for pretty much anything a fixed blade may have been used for: batoning chopping prying, and it hasn’t missed a beat (other than when I hit a nail when chopping and nicked the blade) .
This knife carries surprisingly well for the size due to the thinness of it. I actually forget I am carrying it sometimes which is saying something when you considered the size. It compares well with lockbacks when it comes to opening and closing but that comes with one of my few complaints with this knife. It needs a lanyard to close it. If the user likes lanyards great, if not they will hate this knife unless they figure something else out.(I have seen split rings used)
The simplicity of this knife is mind blowing, it is a wedge that drives into the tang of the blade that tightens the more you use it. I have yet to get blade play even after ridiculously hard use.
In conclusion this knife isn’t for all just those that want to trade speed and tactical looks for brute strength and ultimate slicing from the FFG blade.
