On a whim today, I decided to pull out everything from my current EDC work pack, and weigh it all. Every pocket, pouch, external and clipped on. I have 75 items (Large and small) counted and weighed. Heaviest being a small 16.9oz water bottle carried in side mounted EMT pouch. Second in the weighty department is my little First aid bag, at 12.15 oz. It’s remaining in the bag. Things like my Old school PDA and charger for it (PDA weighs in at 8.25 oz and charger is 6.85 oz) are ranking among the heavier items. Total for all 75 items is a whopping 113.2 oz! or 7.075 pounds!
Yikes…. Some crap is getting left at home after today! I’ve thinned out just about 3.5 lbs so far.
Laptop weight not counted as it was not in bag but in use.
