Hey guys, figured one of you might have had a chance to do this, but during all school activities (football, volleyball, etc) there is always a plainclothes “medic” on site who just sits around and waits for something to happen with their bag of goodies. He doesn’t appear to be a typical “school nurse” type. I thought about this during my daughters volleyball game, and remember one time last year, she needed a wrist wrap and he seemed kinda agitated about using a wrap (maybe it was a bad day for him, I dunno) so that leads me to the question:
If any of you guys have done this, does the school pay you for like, every game you attend a set fee? Does the tech pay for his own materials used (so it comes out of his ‘pay for the day’), or does he add it to the charges?
How’s that work? Anyone know, I’m just curious and even though same dude is at every home game, I feel kinda awkward asking him those questions. I know $$ amount would vary region to region, just wondering how the “used” materials work.
