I’ve been searching for a nice SMALL zippered pocket organizer, but haven’t been happy with what I’ve found. Love my Skinth, and I would have asked Metro for a custom, but I like how a zipper keeps the lint out of the pouch. So I ended up going to the only person I know who could sew a zipper and make a custom case like this…my mom.
I gave her a handful of items I’d like to put in it, and told her I’d like them to all be on 1 side to make it as thin as possible. Then have a single large pocket on the opposite side for folded cash, or band-aids. I had been envisioning a clam-shell design that looked very much like a sewing kit I have. I have to say, that my mom rocks, and I couldn’t be happier with the result! Here’s the images as proof…
First, the two sides, closed up:

Then unzipped, showing the inside with contents…

Finally, dumped out so you can see what’s inside…

Inside (Top to bottom, left to right) is a thin nail clippers from dx. A pill fob (zantac and advil) and a Sandisk cruzer fit. Victorinox Rambler. Inter-dental brush. Uncle Bill’s Sliver Gripper. Case. Triple-antibiotic ointment. Assorted band-aids. Hand cleaning wipe.
I have other thumb drive cases that are similar in dimensions, but this is far less noticeable in my pocket because the case is somewhat flexible. It tends to take to the curve of your leg pretty well.
Compared to the Maxped Micro, it’s about the same width, height is about 2/3, and fully loaded, about 1/2 as thick.
