I was wondering if anybody carries a ham radio with them daily..I carry a Yaesu FT-60R with me. It is a 2 meter and 70 cm capable radio. I like it because it allows me to scan a lot of the Police, Fire, EMS and other Gov’t channels.. And as a CERT member it also allows me to communicate if my CERT team is activated.
