I guess some of you already know me, but I’ll try and give some background to these FAKs setup. I’m a nurse, CPR and EMT instructor, emergency and rescue specialist. But despite all that papers saying I know what I’m doing I hate to have a freaking load of specialized items that only work in one way and in one situation… So my FAKs are made from pretty simple materials that can be used in several situations, in several ways.
So here comes, bruises and scrapes FAK:
Gets carried everytime I’m carrying a bag. It packs this small:

Left to right:
Two sizes Steri-strips.
Smokes tin.
Two big band-aids with folded envelopes to fix inside the tin.
Comfeel “second-skin” dressing.
Linitul impregnated gauze.
Sterile gauze pack (5 inside the envelope)
Sterile saline solution.
Clorhexidine and alcohol wipes.
Nitrile gloves. The tough kind.
Nº11 Scalpel blade.
Paracetamol chewables, come handy because you don’t need water to take them.
Fabric medical tape.
Elastic band that keeps the tin closed.
