The only EDC apparel I’m aware of is ScottEVest. I don’t have any of their products, but I would love a hoddie with 11 or 15 pockets, or whatever.
I’m thinking of having some PALS webbing (what we call Molle) sewn onto the front of a Levi jacket in some strategic spots.
Has anyone else done this? Are you aware of a vest or jacket with PALS webbing that doesn’t make a guy look like a dufus? I mean, if you walked around wearing a Molle assault vest you might look pretty stupid. And cops would stop you and pat you down and make you prove you’re not ‘planning something.’ There’s always this difficult balance of being prepared but not looking like an idiot. Do you want to appear normal, or do you want to carry a flashlight? Geez! Leave me alone already!!
I think load straps have become common on some outdoor adventure wear recently. I’m not sure what’s out there.
