First things first: I didn’t really consider this a bag, because it’s not. If this belongs under the EDC Bags forum, Mods, please move it. I’d hate to be that guy.

Moving on: This idea came to me a little while back– while at work, I hated that if I needed something(especially my canteen) out of my MaxP Remora knockoff, I would have to swing the thing off and put it back on. I found an over-the-shoulder MOLLE rig sort of similar to a TAG Gear Bandolier, and I thought it would be a neat solution for keeping things on the front and back at the same time. I ordered it from an airsoft website, and outfitted it with an ITS Tactical Skeletonized Water Bottle Holder, a Skinth Milky Way(held in place with ITS MOLLE Stix) and a Condor Gadget Pouch(which has recently replaced the Condor frag pouch that was there, as I needed a place to store not only my PortaPros, but my favorite two flavors of MIO). On the back is a single Condor T&T Pouch, which in my experience are perfect for holding a 7″ tablet with plenty of room for a cushy neoprene case.

My issue with this rig: I’m not sure if it’s too bulky to be EDC. Also, I’m not sure that I would be able to get away with wearing this in public, considering that the platform is MOLLE, and that it would be across my chest most if not all of the day. I don’t want to come across as a tactical/militant/violent guy, because I’m really not. I just think that MOLLE is the coolest thing for organizing all my other cool things, and I like to have cool things on my person when I’m out and about.

What say you, fellow carriers? Could I pull this off in a public setting? Is it too bulky to be an efficient EDC? Thoughts? Opinions?
