I crave (need) modularity in my packing systems. When I am CONUS I use a maxped cocoon to store a few cables and charging bricks (my CONUS EDC is a 5.11 MOAB 6) However, when I am OCONUS (6 months +/- out of the year, living out of a backpack) I need to carry more than that. I need something modular (not necessarily MOLLE) that I can grab off the shelf already pre-loaded and drop in my TAD EDC. It needs to carry:
- Macbook Air charger w/ travel adapters
- Universal power adapter
- Airport Express
- lightning cable
- micro usb cable
- hdmi cable
- ethernet cable
- usb extension cable
- thunderbolt to HDMI dongle
Of course, the smaller the pouch the better, as size/weight constraints are my biggest enemy. This is the most paired down list I can function with given the tasks at hand. Right now I am considering a neat freak organizer from MaxPed, but I think that is going to be too big. Thoughts?
