Hey all
I just got this emergency phone charger as a freebie from a company I order a lot from, and tried it out, didn’t do much at all when it was working, which was like only when I was watching it and adjusting it…
Was this the odd one that failed, or are they all like that?
I would have thought this one would do its job, because it’s made of machined aluminum, has some electronics in it, and came with 8 differend adapter plugs for different high-end cell phones and manufacturers. It takes regulare AAA batteries. It’s not a commercially available charger, but has the name of the company stamped on it, and they don’t sell it themselves either.
I was thinking of getting one of these anyway, but after this one I’m not too sure. Anyone have experience with this type of charger? I had to set it down on a table and angle it just right (bad contact too) in order to get the red “charging” light to go on. Not very useful as I would have expected more of a “plug in and pocket it” ability.
