Essentials FAK

Hey guys,

So I’ve got multiple FAKs currently and a bit of experience using them. I’m currently an LEO here own under.
I’m looking to put together a few standard FAKs. These are going to be oriented more towards dealing with bleeding, breaks and snakebites. I’ll also include a few things for boo-boos – bandaids, etc. With that in mind, this is the tentative contents list I’ve got put together. I was hoping you guys might be able to give me some thoughts on it…

Also, you may notice this kit does not include any medication – I will be putting some in, but I’m trying to get these bits sorted first.

2x Triangular Bandage (These I was taught to use both as a gauze pad as well as for slings etc, hence why I have two)
2x Heavy Crepe Bandage (5cmx1.5m)
2x Medium Crepe Bandage (5cmx1.5m)
1x Small Conforming Bandage (5cmx1.5m)
10x Bandaids
10x Alcohol Swabs
Tweezers
Scissors
Splinter Pick
10x Steri-strips
Gastrolyte (rehydration powder)
Face Shield
2x Pairs Disposable Gloves
2x 7.5cmx7.5cm Gauze pads
Tape
Survival Blanket
