KeymasterNice! Have you considered building it? I recently built 2 ARs from the ground up….bought each part individually and I saved about $400-500. There are a lot of good sites out there that sell quality parts at amazing prices…and have good sales too!!

KeymasterI have considered it, and will likely try my hand at one in the future, but I really like this gun.

KeymasterYou are such a tease!:p

KeymasterSo what is the OAL on your rifle and barrel length? Did you go with DI or gas piston? I’m guessing 5.56 for the caliber?
I didn’t notice before, but do you have 8 or 12 mags packed?

KeymasterHonestly I haven’t done the math no the OAL…built it as a pistol….I will worry about that when and if I decide to put a stock on it! The barrel is 11.5″. Yes 5.56 and DI! Also painted it myself!! have a friend who is a gunsmith so he helped me, but I did most of it all on my own with his oversight!

KeymasterI remember your previous post about the painting. I’ll say it again, very nice work. The PWS I showed above has a 9.75″ barrel and a gas piston system. I’m still a newbie when it comes to AR’s so my first one will come prebuilt. After that, I’ll start building my own.

KeymasterThanks!! Thats cool…although I have been shooting some version of this rifle for over 20 years, I am by no means an expert. I learned more about this rifle while building it(researching parts, etc). And it was fun!:p The best part was taking it to the range!

KeymasterI like the ability to break the pistol down for storage in a smaller area or for easier transport.

Keymasteryep. there is a part made by a company called law tactical that makes the stock a folder…..but its pricey!! maybe someday! Also, though I know you are in the heartland, and gun laws are usually good, check and make sure you can own an AR pistol in NE!

KeymasterI have a handgun license, so I should have no issue purchasing it as long as there is no stock, however, you do make a good point since it is a rifle caliber pistol. I will verify with the local police or county sheriff’s office prior to purchase.:)
I just watched the gen 2 adapter video on YouTube. Very interesting, but pricey like you said. $230 MSRP, WOW!!!

KeymasterMy most recent project…
Nice little package that fits in a $12 racquet case.
This is my new IWI Tavor. I decided to go with the Midwest Industries extended rail, Aimpoint Patrol Strike Industries #2 Fat Comp and a PowerTac E5 950 lumen light with pressure switch.
I originally planned on the Manticore Arms ARClight XTL. I still like the design of it more, but it is still vaporware. I am also not set on the fat comp, but it is shorter and lighter than the popular Krink-style comps.

KeymasterSome would argue they don’t come much more “evil” than this. PS90 w/ Aimpoint H-1 and a TLR-3.
