So here’s one good thing that came out of the crap in Baltimore a couple weeks ago. My wife and I were watching the coverage, and she turned to me, muted the TV, and said “Stop Fing around and finish my AR-15, please.”

I love this woman. She was my shooting partner for a decade in sporting clays after never shooting a firearm. She’s deadly accurate with her Beretta 92FS, and beat my dad (who prides himself a rifleman) her first time pulling the trigger on a centerfire rifle (my brother’s SPR-ish AR-15). She wanted something other than black, and pink was not it. Foliage for the win. So here is her MAGR – Marginally Aggressive Green Rifle:

Magpul fixed carbine stock (fits her very well, like my carbine set on “2”), MOE handguard, BCM BFH upper, bolt, and carrier, Anderson MFG lower, PSA LPK w/ALS trigger.

Home defense setup. Kel-Tec SU-16 with LAR Pistol magazines (10 rounds, legal in Canada wheee) and kevlar armour. The flashlight is a Pelican that runs on 2 CR123 batteries. Had that light for well over 10 years and it’s served very well. Yes, the single point detachable sling is home made, and yes, that flashlight is held on by hose clamps screwed into the handguard. No it’s not ideal, but just remember: if it’s stupid, but it works, it’s not stupid 😀 (eventually I’ll improve the mounting system, but this will do for now since it cost nothing but some spare bits I had floating around.)

Not only will the wording in the gay marriage opinion remove previous gun bans…..but it should keep them from making any more, also the NFA rules are going to be contested….you cant force the gay couple to buy a more expensive marriage license……how can you ask me to pay a $200 tax on a right? Or am I wrong?
