That alpha rail is still my favorite.

Mine too. I like the fact that they use the existing barrel nut. I have the Bravo rail also and it only takes a few turns of an allen wrench to swap them out.

Haven’t taken any pictures yet, but I purchased a Smith M&P 15 a couple of weeks back. Finally got out to shoot it Friday. It’s actually my first rifle of any kind having only owned handguns. Shot it. Love it. Handed it to the wife and said “Here, give it a try.” First shot: Bullseye. Don’t piss her off!

It is amazing, a few women out there that can shoot bulls eye after bulls eye. The last lady told me she spent summers at her grand parents and would hunt almost daily.

In my experience (not extensive, but more than most thanks to high school and college sports), all other things being equal, if they’re going to learn, girls learn to shoot faster than boys.
