Don’t be discouraged about removing the sling swivel. Just hit the riveted end with a punch and hammer 5 times and it will pop right out. 2 minute job.The SL guards are phenomenal – unless you have a precision build and must have a FF rail to get sub moa, there is no reason to not have the sl handguard.

-62 grain SSA HD loads62 grain gives me the tightest groups.
62 grain Vmax used to give me sub MOA groups with my 18″ 1-in-8 twist AR. I haven’t had the money to fully test the Ruger.Gotcha. I also run a 1:8 heavy barrel on my most accurate rifle. I’ve found the same, 62gr. seems to be the most consistent between 100 and 200yds.
