KeymasterIt’s awesome. It’s a blast to shoot, accurate, and legal to hunt deer with in Indiana. It was my first AR and by far my favorite. It makes shooting .223 so boring. It does create a problem for me, I need more. I need a SBR in .458. I need a can for it since, starting July 1, it’s legal to hunt with one.

KeymasterFirearms are tools. Inanimate objects with no sense of right or wrong, only its user has that moral compass. You can kill someone with a ballpeen hammer or a screw driver, or you can use a firearm for recreational or competitive shooting.
People are designed to kill. We can punch, kick and bite each other until we’re all bloody and beat to a pulp.

KeymasterCan’t even use rifles here in Ohio. 🙁 That’s one of the several things that have kept me from getting into hunting. I just don’t like shotguns that much, they’re not as cool as rifles. Handgun hunting is allowed, but that’s not really my thing either. I’m hoping we will be allowed to use handgun-caliber rifles soon, a .357 magnum lever gun would be awesome to have.

KeymasterI don’t use this nearly as much as I should be able to… The only range around here is a 100 meter range 🙁

KeymasterThis one belongs to my Dad. We took it out for the first run with it this weekend. Getting dialed in.
Palmetto State Armory AR-15. He added the angled foregrip (Magpul I think).

[IMG]I put about 200 rounds of 5.56 downrange with it. Then we switched out the barrel for a Chiappa .22LR upper. Did pretty well with that too. The Chiappa .22 magazine did leave a little to be desired in that loading it beyond about 15 rounds caused issues with feeding.
But with 5.56 and .223, this rifle ran like a champ!

KeymasterI love my Palmetto upper on my 16″ midlength runs like a top with no problems in years

KeymasterOh yes, god forbid they should do something about the deer infestation around Cleveland. Bambi has gotten to be a danged nuisance around there.

Keymaster3 Gun rifle after assembly. I was shooting for groups and load development, hence the POS Mueller scope and rings. Rifle now wears a Burris MTAC 1-4. Nordic 18″ rifle barrel, BCM upper and bolt. Sabre lower, A2 stock, CMC flat trigger. Very, very fast rifle.

KeymasterTOP: 9MM Carbine. Uses modified Sten Mags. Great plinker and home defense weapon. Wrings the most out of HST 147 grain. WILL get it done without the over penetration of 5.56.
MIDDLE: M&P
BOTTOM: Three more built from scratch. -
