Finally got around to the hobby shop today, where I knew they had small diameter copper tubing. Just picked up a baby pipe cutter yesterday, sooo.. cut to the chase – pictures:

Used the pipe cutter to groove out some grip!

Slightly smaller diameter to fill in the gap left by the knurled grip section!
