Events in Japan have had me thinking about my EDC a little more. Went through the FAK I carry in the truck this morning and I’d be interested in any input you might have.
I’m not really of the survivalist/end of the world mindset, but I like to have some bases covered. I’m also a carpenter and work on isolated jobsites with “whirling blades of death”, as one friend calls pretty much any power tool, jokingly of course.
My kit, as I see it, is for unplanned events plus the everyday things that I might need.
My training in years past has been in the wilderness medicine vein, I was at one time a Wilderness EMT-B, so I feel comfortable with some improvisation.
