Fenix Clip Cure-May the Clip Stay with Me

I seem to have a knack of losing the clip on my LD12 within a day or so of getting each new one,it is getting old.

So when I lost my latest LD12 and immediately ordered a new one to replace it I also ordered an LD09 which get me free shipping but it turns out that I really like the LD09 too!

It is just a great light and a great size overall but of course it also has the exact same clip issue that the LD12 has for me,it lives to get lost?

So it occurred to me somehow after all this time that a simple fix might be easily within my grasp.

A small chunk of Ranger Band and I am pretty confident the clip will not be going anywhere,at least this is what I am telling myself.
With the band on there I almost can not force it off and it also gives the light a little more grip too.
