Field Notes vs. Moleskine Volant vs. ?

Hi everyone!

I’ve been EDCing Leuchtturm 5 x 8 hardcover journals for a few years. I use them for personal and work, but recently accidentally switched to an old 5 x 8 Moleskine Volant. It’s thinner and has a flexible cover, which is nice. I’ll take one of these along in my EDC bag.

Now I’m thinking about EDCing something in my pocket, and considering the smaller Moleskine Volant. That said, everyone here seems to love Field Notes.

Can you share your thoughts / experiences on what notebook you EDC and why? What else have you tried? Why did you pick what you picked?

And pictures can’t hurt : )
