Years back, I heard positive reviews of the Fisher Stowaway back when REI used to sell them. Nowadays they’re much more obscure, but I still have gotten recommendations to look into them to replace my Zebra 402 in an organizer pouch I carry. Are these ‘kit pens’ you only dig out when all other pens have exploded, pencils have snapped, and fountain pens have run dry? Or is it reliable enough to use on a semi-regular basis without cursing at the size and form factor? Does the clip stay on, or is it just glued onto the frame?
