Well a decision had to be made today. One of them to serve as my Carry, HD, SD, Bedside gun. The other to be sold.

I shot 200 rounds of mixed JHP’s and FMJ’s of various weights through both at 10 yards. Shots consisted of slowly timed shots, quick double taps and offhanded point shooting.

Glock wins. With any ammo and any style of shooting, the G19 was consistatly shooting ragged holes in the target. The M&P, while it felt great in my hands, was much less accurate. Not so much that I wouldn’t feel comfortable using it for any purpose, but there was a big enough difference IMO. 3 inch groups with the Glock compared with 5-6 inch groups with the M&P. Double taps with the G19 were astounding. Both bullets were within centimeters of each other.
The G19 now sit’s comfortably in my bed-side safe with a Shield. Hopefully they’ll get along together in a confined space.
