KeymasterNitrile is da bomb-diggity. Even for household use, I won’t use anything else.
“Stealth” black are popular with the tactical crowd, but IMO are a bad idea, blood doesn’t show up well. Blue and purple are pretty common, and blood stands out very well, especially on the lighter blue ones.

We used to use black ones when I worked in New Mexico. Great for starting lines and tactile work since they were so thin. Generally the wetness was a good Give away of blood tooNovember 28, 2025 at 9:19 am #114122admin
KeymasterDidn’t like using the black ones in Afghanistan. They would tease too easy and in blow to nonlight conditionsi couldn’t tell if it was blood, sweat or other fluids

KeymasterI’ve heard that a lot. The bright blue ones might not look cool, but function over fashion, right?

Keymaster100%. Function nover fashion at that point. Plus I would weartmy tactical gloves and work as a soldier until somebody needs a medic. Then switch out from my tactical ones to my nitril ones

KeymasterFair enough. We always could use white light since we aren’t a TEMS team or doing military ops.

KeymasterYa I usually had moon light or no light except when I needed to start an IV/IO. Cause NVG monocles on a non dominant eye suck

KeymasterOh they do, the brand they have just doesnt exist in my size and i hate a tight glove (makes my hands sweaty).

KeymasterDoes anyone make sealed, single packs of gloves that aren’t in the big flat, white paper packages? Just looking for something that’s easy to toss into various bags, vehicles, etc. Obviously, I could use a ziplock bag or something. Just curious what’s out there.

KeymasterIf you do a Google image search on “nitrile gloves single pair” you might be able to spot some options. I’m in the UK so my results might differ from yours, but Religlove and St John Ambulance both look like possibles.

KeymasterDynarex has packaged sterile nitrile gloves. Don’t know where you could buy them or how much they cost. Probably a lot cheaper just to go to a craft store and buy some small zip seal bags and package your own.
