So I’m looking into getting a leatherman, and I’m planning on the wave. However the Surge is putting up a good fight, and now I’m not sure which one to get. I’m primarily going to use it for EDC, so the wave is my first impulse as it is slightly smaller, and weighs less.
Now the regular bit driver and the scissors would probably be what I’d use most, and while the drivers are mostly the same, the scissors are on the surge look a lot better than the wave’s… so does the size/weight increase really outweigh the better (IMO) tools?
So what would you guys recommend? Provided that you have both, what if you lost both but could only get one or the other back, which would you choose? Also any thoughts/input on either tool is appreciated.
