My birthday is coming up and this year I’d like to pick up one of those inexpensive tablets because my laptop (Mac) is dying and I can’t afford to replace it at the moment. I really only need something that does the fun stuff right now anyway.
I’m just starting my research so I figured I’d ask my brothers and sisters on the forum for some input.
Right now I’m debating between a Google Nexus 7 or Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. I was looking at the Kindle Fire HD, but my wife has some complaints about her older Fire and thinks we should steer clear. One thing about getting the Kindle is that we have Prime, so I would have access to some freebies, though it does look like some of the other tablets include free content like Hulu Plus access and such. Does one stand out in ya’ll’s opinion? Is there another tablet I should consider?
I’d like to try and keep in the $200 range. I could probably go to about $230, but that would be it.
