Garmin 60CSX. It has a fairly large color screen. I’ve owned one for years and would recommend it. I think that you can find it – used -around the price you’ve stipulated. It has been discontinued. Understand that units like this come with “base maps”. Deailed street maps of a region would need to be purchased separately.
There is a newer model (which replaced the 60CSx) called the 64S, which receives GLONASS as well as NAVSTAR and also includes Bluetooth. This seems to be around your price range as well. Keep in mind the memory module and street/topo map costs as well. Syntaxerrorsix is correct that Garmin is and pretty much has always been at the top of the consumer GPS Rx market. The company can be a bit infuriating at times (IMHO) but their products are great.
Hmm… the 64s looks really nice! I’ve never used this model but it looks really cool!
