I just wanted to show everyone a great little tool that comes in very handy for firearms disassembly and cleaning. It’s from 10-8 Performance and called simply the Armorer Tool.
Made from tough nylon, it’s great for removing slide stops, pushing detents and pins, removing cotter keys, and aids in cleaning. It lets me get in some tough cleaning areas with a patch and then the tough nylon allows me to apply pressure and essentially scrape away fouling and carbon build-up.
Use it to remove tough pins or work them out far enough you can get a grip on them.
Cleaning the carbon build-up from around the ejector.
Running patches inside the frame rails.
