I’m fairly new to knives and only own a Spyderco Techno and some SAK Alox. I’m looking for a knife to take hiking/camping. I don’t hunt but I might need it for food prep, I also might need it for hacking at things and making kindling. I want it to be able to take a hammering. I would also prefer it was sold with a kydex sheath that could ride on my molle on a Litespeed bag – though this isn’t a deal breaker. Also only interested in fixed blades.
Budget is $200. Most important factor for me is durability. I DO NOT want to baby this knife or have it break on me.
