Help chosing between knives

Hello. Yes, is just another of my threads about knife size and people… Sorry, but I`m very undecided and you can just ignore it.

Before I begin stating my issue, I must say that in my country there is no law against carrying any kind of knife and in my state there is a law that was made last year which says that you cannot carry a knife with a blade bigger than 10cm. Just to remember as well that probably no one knows/remember that anymore, even cops and LEOs.

So, currently I’m edcing a Lightning Otf (I love otfs) and I like to keep my knife attached in my keychain. Sometimes I let it loose in my pocket, but if I want to put my keychain somewhere I like to keep the knife together.

The thing is. Even though I love this knife, it is indeed a bit bigger than I wished. It sure scares people even if I open it softly without the big otf noise.
And here in my country, especially in my state (big city) people are not used to knives and no one carries/collects them.

I have another great otf: the AKC mini concord. It’s a great otf, but a bit small. It’s certainly a good size for keychain and probably won’t attract too much attention, but it’s not such a good size for a knife. Also, it’s balde shape is not so great. As a knife, I certainly prefer the lightning.

So, I already used my lightning in my work in front of everyone. People was surprised, not completely shocked or scared, but some kind of “?”. A guy asked if I walked around with the knife in my pocket and I answered that I kept it in my bag. In general they thought it was a cool knife and probably that I was a little creepy.

When I go to places where I will be searched or go throught a metal detector I such as concerts and banks, I avoid bringing any knife beforehand. But in the case that I suddenly have to go to a bank it would be nice if my knife didn’t attracted much attention.

Finally, I ask for your oppinion on which knife you think is better for me to carry and if the lightning is too big and the akc too small. Any advice or note is welcome.
