Help deciding between Case steel

Basically what the title says, you enablers have talked me into a Case Peanut. I’ve got a CV Sodbuster now that I really like so the Peanut would strictly be light duty, office carry. The most I do is cut strings off my clothes, open letters and packages, and cut food/fruit. I’ve read all the arguments against Case’s SS but they seem to be written buy guys who were using their pocket knife to build a log cabin. Is the SS truly that bad for light duty tasks?

I REALLY like the Amber Bone pattern and it only comes in SS. If the CV is in fact exponentially better then I’m not opposed to the Chestnut Bone, I just don’t like it as much.
