I need some help. I am fairly new to this forum, but already like what I see in the flashlight portion of the forum.
I am a property manager; apartments, and self-storage. It is imperative that I have a wonderful hand held light for night time walk arounds as well as when I get the alert that nafarious happenings are occurring at either place.
I am also an excellent “shade tree” (Tennessee does not recognize licensed gun smiths) gun smith so I need some of and on illumination in that regard as well. Not so much when I am in my office but when away from here and just out and about in the community I live in.
I have considered the Quantum DD for a keychain light, and I have looked at this specific thread and like what I see. Pros\Cons, what is better for a keychain light, pictures and beam shots would be helpful.
I have also considered a Fenix PD-32 (750 lumens according to them), for my EDC. Plenty of light for night inspections, plus all the other features such as strobe, and variable output.
Does anyone have any other suggestions, or considerations. Is there anything better than these two for the task that I would assign them? I am carrying a Inforce 2 cr123 now with a total out put of 200 lumen but much past 15 yards and I’m sunk for night carry and being extremely bright at any greater distance.
Any help would be much appreciated.
