Hi All, New member here,
I am looking for a little help/guidance on my EDC FAK that I keep in my bag that goes pretty much everywhere with me.
IMO, a FAK is probably one of the first things I want to keep on me on a daily basis.
I keep a fully stocked EMT jump bag in my car for serious emergencies.
I my EDC bag I keep a very basic first aid kit:
1 – 5×9 combine dressing
2 – 3×3 dressing
4 – 2×2 dressing
Several – Various sizes of band-aids (large, small, fingertip)
1 – 2″ roller gauze
1 – flexwrap
4 – butterfly stitches
1 – neosporin tube
1 – waterjel burn cream
6 – medical wipes
1 – ace wrap
1 – tweezers
2 – safety pins
1 – EMT shears
6 – Advil, Dayquil, Benadryl, Mucinex, Sudafed, Pepto Bismol, Zofran, Allegra, Excderin,
I keep all of this in a Maxpedition EDC pouch, but I am moving it to either a FR-1 or F.I.G.H.T pouch.
Any recommendations or changes that I’m missing? What do you think of the FR-1 or FIGHT pouch inside of a Maxped Kodiak?
Again the bag is designed to handle small emergencies in the office, etc.
The big stuff can be handled out of my EMT jump bag in the car.
Joe
