I am in the market for a PDA. I have never owned one before and was hoping someone here would be able to point me in the right direction.
Here’s my wish list of features (I understand it may be difficult to satisfy all these requirements, but I’m willing to spend the cash!):
1) GPS compatible; I would ideally like a PDA that I can plug a GPS receiver into or even a PDA that has built in GPS that would be able to link to a laptop for in-vehicle navigation. The GPS feature would ideally have feature-rich maps in the program.
2) Wireless internet access; I move from city to city fairly often in my travels and being able to access WI-FI spots would be a huge help
3) A decent amount of memory; Having never owned a PDA before, I’m not sure what the typical harddrive size is
4) A touch screen; not an absolute, but I really have found that touch screens are easier for me to use
Those are what I would ideally like to have. I understand that not all of these features may be possible, but I have done without so far, I’m sure I can survive without a PDA for a while longer. Price really isn’t the issue for me, but I was hoping that someone here would be able to recommend a PDA for me. Thanks in avance!
