KeymasterHello everyone,
I am thinking of getting a new watch. I have been wearing a Timex “Weekender” for over a year now and I like it, but time for something new. I’m never sure where to begin looking or if what I want exists so here I am again hoping someone can help me spend my money.
Must have’s:
-Up to $100 for something awesome, $50 range is better
-Analog display. I really don’t like digital watches
-Water resistant. I am a chef so this is a must, watch is always getting wet or sauced up.
-I have a weird metal allergy so it has to be decent metal, nothing cheap. For example, if it changes your skin’s color to green or something else, I break out in hives. The metal button on most jeans breaks me out. Stainless steel is okay. I like the cloth band on the Timex because it covers the metal part of the watch so I have no problems.Extras I would Like:
-Date shown. Month and day would be great. It’s ok if this is digital
-Alarm would be nice
-Some sort of timer with alarm. We use timers all the time in the kitchen and it would be nice to have one on my watch that is easy to set and loud enough to hear over the noise.
-Simple looks. I enjoy very nice watch but I tend to really like simple, no filler designs on just about everything.
-A compass? I get lost easily. Having a compass on me at all times would be awesome. It is completely okay if this is not possible though. Thanks in advance. I really don’t know much about watches so I am not sure if this is a weird set of features to have in a watch or not.
