Help with carry setup for Quantum D2

Hey folks,

Long time lurker, first time poster here. I’m hoping you guys can help me figure out a good carry setup with my Quantum D2. I apologize if the answer is obvious – I’ve done a lot of searching on the site and can’t quite find the answer I need.

I want to attach this awesome little light to my stethoscope, which is made of 1/2 inch softish rubber, and I’m having a hard time figuring out how to attach it. The biggest McGizmo will fit, but it’s overly big and heavy and looks silly attached to the Quantum. A size 1 Nite-Ize biner won’t quite fit around the stethoscope, and it seems a size 2 likely wouldn’t fit through the Quantum. The lanyard snap hook from Lighthound is too small, and I haven’t tried the TEC Python but readin the specs, it looks too small as well. I considered a good ole ball chain keychain, but I’m worried about it breaking and me losing the light.

Any and all suggestions would be appreciated!
