When I was little my grandpa taught me how to play a good game of chess and I got to thinking how I could incorporate a chess piece into my EDC.
So this is what I got! What do you all think? It’s just a little something that I designed and decided to get machined out. The material is 3/16″ spring tempered 1095, good tough stuff. I put two 1/4 hex slots, one to used to connect to my keychain and the other for bit driver and wrench stuff. I decided to space everything out so if you had no other choice and had to punch your way out of something it locks up on the meat of your hand while you can hold it between two fingers. You can also hold it like a kubotan if you want though not nearly as comfortable, still doable.
Ooh hey I’m also having some trouble with stone washing some of these. The cool grey look scratches off pretty easily. Any suggestions to prevent this?
