How are suspension clips for freeing up pocket space?

They look good and all but Im worried that it might take up a lot of room for sticking my hands in my pocket. Also, I keep a lot of things on my keys, and wanted to know if the added weight could possible fray the pocket rim or make the pocket sag. Just want to know your guy’s personal experience with these.
