How do you clean and maintain your leatherman tools?

I have 4 leatherman tools.

New wave
Supertool 300

I want to know how I can keep them loose (oiled basically but with out any dirt or grease dripping or leaking (hopefully that makes sense) from the tool) I also want to keep them clean (keep dust and dirt out Etc.) Currently I’m using q – tips and pipe cleaners.

What kind of oil, lube, cleaner (materials in general) should I use?
