How do you open/close your knife quietly (OTF)

Hi, you know when you want to cut something or just use your knife in a place where you don’t want or can’t make much sound?
How do you do in situations like that? As an OTF knife user, I can say it is much more complicated than folders, that can be slowly guided by the fingers.
Opening an OTF quitely is easier than closing, normaly I open it against anything to avoid the opening sound, but closing is very difficult to do that way.

Thoughts?
