It’s interesting how one can get up in the morning not realizing he needs something, and by nightfall (and a few hundred online photos later) he’s not sure how much longer he can survive without it.
Today, that item for me is a leather notebook cover.For 6 months, I’ve been carrying a Virtuo 192-page pocket notebook from one of the big office supply chains. It’s held up well so far but is starting to hint that pages will start to come out pretty soon. I’ve only used about 50 pages in that time, so I think a 48-page Field Notes would serve me better.
IF I don’t make a nice leather cover a priority for a while, is a Field Notes likely to hold up without a cover if carried in one’s back pocket for 6 months? Some wrinkling and wear and tear are fine. I just don’t like to have pages falling out.
