How to carry a pen with a small notebook.

Hey all.

Long time lurker. First time poster. My wife and I welcomed a baby very recently so I’ve had time to slow down and revisit my EDC systems.

After researching through the nights, I’ve come to understand a need for a small notebook and pen to be added to my EDC.

I picked up a three pack of Moleskine Cahier’s and a pair of Zebra F-301’s.

I haven’t been out too much, so I haven’t been able to field test this system yet, but I’ve been putting the pen in the middle of the book, closing the cover and wrapping a hair elastic lengthwise to secure it in place.

How do you guys carry a pen, everyday?
