So I’ve always thought atwoods were stupid and I hadn’t ever seen a need for a pry bar on my person. I always said “Well, I’ve always got my Leatherman Wave, and the large screwdriver is pretty substantial. It’ll handle any prying tasks I need.
And like most things, that was true right up until the moment it wasn’t.
I was trying to pry a cable hanger off of a work bench on Friday. It was held on with 3M double sided foam tape, that super strong stuff. So I crammed my Leatherman flat head in there and started prying… it was separating nicely until… CRACK! off pops the screw driver. How is Leatherman’s Warranty on things like this?
I went out to Lowes this weekend and bought one of the Niteize Doohickey’s and it’s living on my keychain now. I have to say, I’m dreading the time I’ll be without my Wave while it’s in for repairs.
