My Preon 2 has been through the ringer. The blue finish is coming off all over, its been banged around a lot. I stopped using it because the switch would change modes or not work at all at times. I pulled the switch from the tailcap, and used my Olfa snap cutter (I almost used my real knives, and then I came to my senses) and found 4 little metal triangular tabs that protrude from the sides of the switch at right angles. They were smashed flat. I pried them out, and re inserted the switch, using the screw down bezel to seat the switch. I also removed the aluminum button cover because this helps prevent pocket activation. Works like new now! Hope some of you guys and gals can find this information useful!
