First the good: let me say that this particular fountain pen is the Pilot Elite 95S and I think its amazing. Writes smooth, doesn’t skip and feels great in my hand. I carry it work every day clipped to my polo shirt.
Now the bad: darn thing leaked ink from under backside cap where the con 20 converter sits. I don’t know why it leaked but it did and it left a nice blue ink stain on my chest and shirt. The converter just doesn’t seem to fit well at all in this pen. It wiggles a bit, rattles when it gets low of ink and doesn’t leave me with a good feeling about its practicality. Con 50 converter doesn’t fit…
Anyone have experience here? Should I just go to using a cartridge? I hate not to use bottled ink because I’m quite picky
