I’m looking for a handgun for: defensive carry, fun shooting on the range, and most importantly defense while bow hunting. I grew up around firearms and have hunted with a bolt action before, but I’m not really a gun guy. I don’t exactly know what I’m looking for and any advice would be appreciated. I’m leaning toward a .357 revolver for the stopping power and the ability to shoot .38 special as well. Feel free to suggest anything, revolver or not.
