Need some advice from the more experienced…

I’m looking at re-doing the vehicle FAK (got a larger bag on order, current one is pretty stuffed) and see that I’m a bit light on rolled gauze. I’ve heard frequent mention of this Kerlix stuff, so I did some reading up on it. Looks like it’s more absorbant than regular gauze, the fluffiness provides some cushioning, and it comes in nice, long rolls.

It comes in 2.25″, 3.4″, and 4.5″ wide rolls, sterile and non-sterile, 6 or 8 ply (6 being the more common).

Question is: What quantities of what widths are reasonable to stock in the average FAK? What gets used the most?

I probably need answer B because answer A is, I suspect, “as much as you can cram in your bag”.

I’ll be stocking the sterile stuff, can’t see any need for both types when space is limited.
