Knife Recomendation Challenge Ka-Bar Mk1

OK so I seem to have a hankering for a Ka-Bar Mk1 with the leather handle BUT …. I wanted to make it a challenging recommendation thread because there will inevitably be the post, well if you would just save a little more money, like 200% more you could get X that is nothing like what you’re looking for. YOU’RE WELCOME! This isn’t one of those, well yeah but what are you going to use it for? things. I am going to use it to scratch my want itch, that’s what. Actually, that’s not entirely true. I am looking for an outdoor knife that will end up skinning deer and light bushcrafty stuff.

Recommendation needs to be +/- $5.00 (ie $55.00 – $65.00), roughly the same length, roughly the same size, equal or better than 1095 steel, does not need to be some kind of military traditional knife (at all) but Zombies and tacticool should not come to mind, I am indifferent about the stick tang, cannot be Scandi ground, and I don’t want it to be 1/2″ thick stock, #OVERBUILT. So, would you get something else instead? Or get the Mk1?
